When I think back to my childhood, I often think of the fairy tales that were read to me or the wonderful worlds I explored when I could conceptualise the written word myself. It brought about an imaginative mind, profound knowledge and a deep love for the written word. I want to inspire your little one and equip him/her with a toolbox of inspiration, interest and instruments that support cognitive development. When we read to our children, we are not only entertaining them for a little while – we are building imaginative worlds in the connections of their brains, offering language skills and increasing their discipline, interest and concentration. Reading skills prepare and equip our children to thrive in school and condition them for success thereafter.
Krinn Studios offers a variety of books that follows animals on their quests and adventures. Important lessons are learned along the way and children are reminded of their own strengths and traits. It also cultivates a love and respect for animals and our world. The books are appropriate for children aged 2 -12 years. Toddlers will love the books for their glorious illustrations and rhyming tone, while older children will be captivated by the unique story lines and educational elements.

About the Author
Amor Nawn is a writer, illustrator, photographer and designer. She has always had a love for everything visual and written and in 2010 completed a BA Degree in Languages (Journalism and Visual Studies) at the University of Pretoria. Amor began her career in media as an intern at Beeld in 2009 and worked as a journalist and photographer for the student newspaper, Kampus Beeld in 2010. In 2013, Amor went on to study fashion at the London International School of Fashion. That same year Amor started Amor Nawn Photography where she works as a photographer, visual designer, fashion stylist and conceptual designer. Her work has been featured in Bloss Magazine, Mooi Troues and Affluence Magazine, as well as the Indian lifestyle television programme Mela.
Amor also gained experience as a fashion and travel editor and blogger for a popular South African women’s magazine. She is branching out into print and blogging.
Amor was placed in the top three in the coveted South African Top Vendor Wedding Awards (2014) for her photography and won a Lina Spies trophy and Van Schaik Award for writing.

An avid animal rights activist and environmentalist, Amor hopes to bring about change through her writings and drawings. It is easy to adopt humane and responsible lifestyles when one falls in love with Nature. I hope that you’ll fall madly, deeply in love with each character and adventure. So deeply that you want to bring meaningful change for the planet and its animals. We have one world and we must take care of it and those that frequent it. You can help in various ways! Research issues affecting animals and nature, including poaching, illegal trafficking, habitat destruction, over-exploitation, deforestation, water-use issues, plastic pollution, animal exploitation and abuse. See where you can volunteer, sign petitions, or organize fundraising activities.
Becoming an earth and animal activist starts at home. There are daily activities that are easy to implement. Try recycling paper and plastic, purchase cruelty-free products and adopt a pet from a local shelter. Give food to those in need and support organizations that care for animals. It takes one person to plant a seed and soon you’ll start to see change all around you!
